In the present work the concept of «knowledge» is examined in the pedagogy in higher schools. Today we have to spend time fighting for the quality of students ’ knowledge. To transfer knowledge to students means to form the essence of concepts, to help to understand the natural connection of phenomena of material reality and to clothe it in a correct and clear verbal or other form. First of all it is necessary to ensure that the student has clear, specific representation of the object before quoting a particular phrase.
